The One-Stop Shop Plan-Ed vs. The Chaos
(Ditch the Scattered Notebooks)
When we started Home Educating, our dining table quickly disappeared under a mountain of notebooks, printed worksheets, and post-it notes. We had YouTube links saved in WhatsApp, session ratings scribbled in a diary, and schedules drawn on a whiteboard.
It was exhausting. We realised we needed a single, calm digital hub to organise our lives... so we built Plan-Ed. Here is how we help you clear the clutter.
A Better Way to Manage Your Days
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I link to resources on other platforms like Twinkl or YouTube?
Absolutely. Plan-Ed is designed to be your central hub. You can paste URLs to YouTube videos, interactive games, or external worksheets directly into your session plans, so everything is just one click away when the day starts.
Does Plan-Ed replace all my physical planners and diaries?
Yes! Plan-Ed is built to replace the scattered notebooks, whiteboard schedules, and post-it notes. By keeping your timetable, evidence, and resources in one digital space, you drastically reduce physical clutter and mental load.
How does the child session rating system work?
We built a simple, low-demand feedback tool into the student dashboard. After a session, your child can quickly tap a visual rating to let you know how they found the activity. This helps you adapt future sessions without forcing them into stressful conversations about their learning.
What if my child still does a lot of work on paper or physical projects?
That is completely fine! Plan-Ed doesn't force your child to learn on a screen. When they finish a physical worksheet, a painting, or a Lego build, you simply snap a photo on your phone and upload it directly to that session's evidence log.
Is it easy to switch to Plan-Ed if I'm already halfway through the year?
Yes. You don't need to backdate everything unless you want to. You can simply set up your weekly rhythm starting from today, and let Plan-Ed handle the organisation going forward.
