  • Student Information: To use the planner, you may input the first names (or nicknames) of your students, their schedules, and educational notes. We treat this data with the utmost sensitivity.
  • Payment Data: When you subscribe, your payment details are processed directly by our secure payment provider (Stripe). We do not store or process your full credit card information on our servers.
  • Usage & Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how you interact with our system. This includes your IP address (which we anonymise before processing), browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the time spent on the app. This helps us squash bugs, understand how our software is used, and improve Plan-Ed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide the core scheduling and reporting features of Plan-Ed.
  • Send you critical system emails (like password resets or account updates).
  • Process your subscription payments.
  • Respond to your customer support requests.

We will never sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party services that are essential to running our application:

  • Stripe: For processing subscription payments securely.
  • Resend: For delivering automated system emails securely.
  • Web Hosting: Our database and servers are securely hosted to keep your data safe.
  • Google Analytics: For analysing website traffic and user behaviour. Google may store this data on servers outside of the UK/EEA, but they do so under approved data transfer frameworks.     • When you first visit Plan-Ed, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept or decline analytics cookies at that time. If you wish to change your preferences later, you can clear your browser cookies for our site to trigger the banner again.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect any personal information we process. If you cancel your subscription, we will keep your personal information in our database for a maximum of 12 weeks unless you submit a request for it to be removed sooner for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.
