1. Introduction
Welcome to Plan-Ed ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Plan-Ed website and software application. By registering for an account and using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Account Registration and Security
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a primary Plan-Ed account.
- The primary account holder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account, including actions taken by any student profiles linked to the primary account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Plan-Ed is a subscription-based service. By providing payment information, you authorize us (via our secure payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method for the agreed subscription fees.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
4. Acceptable Use
Plan-Ed is designed to help organize educational planning. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to hack, destabilize, or adapt the software.
- Share your login credentials outside of your immediate household.
5. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We process your personal data and the data you input regarding educational plans in accordance with UK Data Protection laws (UK GDPR). We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
The Main Account Holder (Parent) is the Data Controller and is responsible for all content and imagery entered; we are the Data Processor who handle the storing and delivery of the Users data to the system display only.
6. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to keep Plan-Ed running smoothly 24/7, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or completely error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with or without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Plan-Ed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of Plan-Ed shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
